USB Wifi Adapter only showing either 2ghz or 5ghz

Whenever I check my list of available networks on my pc I am only able to see one type of network at a time. I have to manually go into device manager and change a setting to show the other one. On my previous computer it worked just fine, but now this is happening. Does anyone know how to make it so both 5ghz and 2ghz appear at the same time? I have updated the drivers and everything.

What model usb wifi adapter do you have? It might just be a limitation of the product
