Is there a monitor that can do 4k 60hz but also do 1080p 144hz?

Right now I have a 4k 60hz monitor. I'm starting to get into fps games more and I want to get higher fps. Since my monitor is stuck at 60hz, I can't see above 60fps, but I really feel like it will improve my gaming experience at 144hz. I was looking at 1080p 144hz monitors but I really don't want to give up the 4k resolution when I'm not gaming. In short, I want a 1080p 120hz/144hz monitor that I can use when gaming, but I also want that monitor to do 4k 60hz when I'm not gaming. Is there a monitor that can do both? I average about 120fps in some games and I am in the process of building a new gaming computer to improve upon that.

just go with a 1440p 120-144

Either compromise and go 1440p 144hz or get a secondary monitor that is 1080p 144hz. 
Afaik there isn’t a monitor that can do 4K 60hz then transfer to 1080p 144hz

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

If you don’t want to have multiple monitors then I’m sure there is 4K 144hz monitors that exist. But they’re probably very expensive
