Wifi Card underperforming

• I was playing call of duty today and was idk why I decided to apply an overclock the overclock worked fine in stress tests but then when I tried to play cod I relized my Wi-Fi card was preforming 1/10 of what it’s supposed to I have no clue what wrong and I need to ask some experts on this issue.

..and how did you come up with that? You gonna need to provide A LOT more information if you actually want someone to help you. Psychics are not real and surely they are not browsing LTT forums.

It’s so weird I go on glasswire and nothing is hogging up my Wi-Fi.

I will also get a you are not connected pop up on Microsoft edge same on chrome for a split second sometimes while webrowsing

I try to download battle.net launcher because I was having issues this morning and I get couldn’t download network issue. It should work even with this slow speeds.

It's possible you're comparing MB to Mb, which are megabyte and megabit respectively.

Programs like Steam, Battle Net (where CoD is installed at), etc. list speeds in MB, while speedtest.net, probably Glasswire, etc. list speeds in Mb.

1MB = 8Mb.

 

Please double check if you are indeed comparing MB to Mb, because that would explain the '1/10 of what it's suppose to have'.

If by underperforming you mean that you're not getting the full speed of the WiFi adapter, please state the make/model of the adapter, the speeds you are seeing and the speeds you are paying for according to your contract with the ISP.

As you can see it’s slow I used to get 30

I have solved the issue with a weird twist this ended up being more than a repair but also ended even better I added another 5mbps to my download speeds I didn’t have wlan optimizer on lol Srry for wasting your time. Thanks for the help tho!
