Rx 570

DANPLAYSGAMES

I’m getting a gigabyte rx 570 4gb but due to the psu shortage idk that’s what I’ve been told it’s been hard to find a decently priced one. I was wondering I could pair it with something like a cool max m-500b? Doesn’t have any ratings

There is quite the difference between could and should

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

Something cheap but has the necessary protections like the cv450 or the MWE White V2, while yes they're subpart , they'll do the job.

Brand isn't quality

Which one ? If it's the W1 or the N1 , avoid it.

You look at reviews.

Edit : and not customer reviews

Reviews from people that do research and test the product.

Don't bother with it

A cv450 or a vs 450 will do the job

The MWE White V2 would also do the job.

Well I don't really know where you live. Also the reason why there are non in stock is because of the pandemic. Waiting would probably be the best choice.

This thread has most if not all info you need to pick out a PSU. B or greater is what I'd go for in your case. Lots of options to choose from
