I bought a r7 3700x and put it into my system that had a 2600 in it. and it doesn't boot and the gpu fans dont spin the motherboard box said ryzen 3rd gen ready I must be doing something wrong. I had a post before asking the same question and ive troubleshooted all the steps I was told about. the system is a gigabyte b450 I gaming wifi corsair 2x8 ram corsair 600w psu and msi mech oc rx5700xt

Clear the cmos 

Try with one stick at a time and maybe try the cpu in a different board ( one that you are sure was flashed with the new bios )

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad. 

 

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

 

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

 I don't have a board yet trying to get my hands on a b550 but stock is hard to come by

Ask a computer store / a vendor if they can update the bios for you.
