Hey guys, i just built a new PC moving from intel over to a ryxen 3900x and im having a little trouble with performance. For example while in a game if i open another tab my frame rate plummets and when i close it it goes back up. Im also using a gtx 1070 and 32g of ram (3200) on an asus prime x570. Has anyone else heard anything like this and how is it fixed?

You mean the framerate on the game drops when it's out of focus? That's normal, it's a power saving feature of the game itself.
