Low end GPU

I want to buy a GT 1030. Is it a good choice? It costs about 85 dollars here. Whats a better alternative?

A used 570 should be around 80 bucks.

Used - get a used 580 or 1060. The 1030 is not worth 80 - it's not even worth 40$

1030 is a complete and utter waste of money.

Note the cost per frame chart in particularly, and you'll see how crap the 1030 is.

 

R9 270x and 380 are the best value GPU on that list, but ofcourse prices vary per region, so use your local prices and compare framerates to see what you can afford that actually performs well.

Absolutely not, it is one of the most overpriced pieces of garbage you can buy. To give you an idea of just how bad it is, a Ryzen 5 3400g igpu nearly matches its performance (and we're talking about integrated graphics) Get a RX 570 or 580.
