CPU AIO missing 1 stand-off

To be honest so long as the tubes aren't pulling the cooler up on that side you could very well get away with just three.

 

Of course that isn't ideal. If it can be helped ask your friend of he has any idea where that component went. Have him check the last motherboard he installed it on.

 

Tristerin's suggestion is probably your best option but if you're careful about how tight you make it a visit to the hardware store could probably get this done as well. A bolt, a washer or two, a nut, and you're good to go.

I wouldn't bother using it without a way of securing it there. You won't get even mounting pressure, and the cooling won't be effective. If your friend can't find the standoff, I'd ask him to take it back and give you back your cash.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Standoffs for corsair units can be bought on Aliexpress for basically shipping cost or less.  

 

Its how I got my AM4 bracket/backplate/screws/standoffs for $2 instead of buying stateside from Corsair for $10 shipped.

I have a very similar nut in length and width as the standoffs, I can use as a helper for just a little bit more pressure, ty for the help though.

When dealing with odd thread patterns take one to the hardware store to match up, Lowes/HomeDepot in my area are great for odd size/thread pattern screws
