So I am planning on buying a new tv because the one I have right now sucks. It is probably going to be one of these three:

Samsung qled 8k 65q800t (3999 with a s20 for free)
LG 65gx6la (3599)

LG 65e9pla (2349)

Which one do you guys think is best for the price? My current phone is s10 plus so I could possibly  sell it.

qled is still just like lcd tv that uses led strips for the backlight

in oled, each pixel has its own micro led which allows for better control, allow the led to be turned completely off

oled is the better technology

for your choices, paying over a $1000 more for some small improvements of the gx is not justified.

but that is just me

The problem is that I am putting the tv in a room with a lot of light. Like 6 windows. Will that be a problem for the tv?

I'd recommend going to Youtube and searching for "OLED vs QLED - With a Microscope! - What is the best TV?"

I'd post the link but I'm not sure I'm allowed to. Great video to explain the differences between the 2 technologies

He's right. I don't know the some small improvements but currently having a OLED tv iI have for two years now and there is no reason to "upgrade" to a new model. In this case and the cheapest: get the LG 65e9pla.

3999 for a Qled tv, has Samsung lost their mind?!

Klipsch Heritage Headphone Amplifier

So it is also not worth it even with the new phone? And will the bright room not mess with the tv?

Even if your room is bright, 3999 is stupidly overpiced IMO.

And how bright is your room?

Ugh, I forgot the price. No, the price is really damn too high. It's like you can buy literally 3x OLED 55" tv's :/

I'd say: get a cheaper tv. Maybe there are OLED tv's with higher brightness?

-edit-

I forgot to mention I bought blackout curtains as the stupid sun shines on my OLED tv in summer. Maybe you can buy the curtains too?

I have curtains that block the light partially so I think oled will be best. I was thinking about a9g or lg gx. What are your opinions about those 2?

If it was me, I would've gotten the blackout curtains and get the OLED tv.

Really, maybe I lack something or I don't know but Qled for 3100 euro's is still damn high. Qled is a gimmick, it's still led lcd with some filter applied.

Samsung thinks they can compete oled.

Why do you need these expensive TVs? Get a LG C9 OLED 65" for ~2000 $. Yes, QLED is good aswell, but there is no QLED that will have the same picture quality as a good OLED TV. The C9 can get to ~850 nits, so even in bright rooms it will still perform very strong. I have the C9 55" myself and even in bright daylight there are no issues with reflections/glare or a dim picture. My OLED is the best thing i got for myself in the last few years. HDR Gaming is awesome aswell!

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
