Depends. If this is for gaming a 3900x is overkill and you should spend more on your GPU

Wait so are you buying an alienware desktop? These are usually not great value also a 3900x + 2060 is a very odd choice for gaming. You invest a lot of money into a cpu whilst not investing much into a gpu. A 3600 will game about as well as a 3900x and would allow you to get a better gpu which is what really matter. Also the alienware r10 uses very cruddy cooling for the gpu which usually causes temperature issue which then results in worse performance/plain crashing.

i agree i would most likely go with a 2070 super or go for a 3700x. The 3900x isn't really needed if your just doing gaming.

I paired the 2080 super with the 3700x since only it or the 2060 super is allowed with the 850 watt power supply ortherwise I have the 2070 super with a 550 watt poer supply that is still paired with the 3700x

Don't worry about the PSU pairing. Although they may not give you the best quality PSU, dell are not going to give you a system that is inadequately powered

I would go with the build i sent you. That one isn't the worst price i have ever seen but still is a bit overpriced and never heard of that place. Honestly after you have built it the feeling of satisfaction is really good.
