Budget (including currency): $800 CAD

Country: Canada

Use Cases: This PC will be used for games such as Borderlands 3, Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite (overall, not very demanding games), played at high settings. It'll occasionally be used for video editing in Premiere as well as Photoshop.

Other details: Peripherals and monitor are NOT needed. This PC will be used with a 1080p 60Hz monitor. A 500GB SATA SSD and a 1TB HDD is ideal, but a 1TB SSD alone is also fine.

I think I've given most of the details, but let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

Two sites I'd recommend.

https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri -  to get the RECOMMENDED, not Minimum, spec's of the games wanting to be played

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/  - to put a parts list together, based on the above.

**I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have amended.**

Current PC spec. in my profile.
Can I realistically call myself a gamer, if I only play ONE, twenty year old game...?

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

Not to offend you or anything but I know what PCPP is.

It's just that I've lost touch with PCs a bit and I'm not too familar with the newest CPUs, motherboards, and graphics cards.

Thanks anyways.

Its not a great amount of money, but you can get a decent entry level system. Heres my suggestions:

Few things to note:

-I don't know CAD pricing but a used RX580 may be a better option if its cheaper. You can then spend a bit more to get a better motherboard (something like the asrock pro4) and maybe a better case.

-The case doesn't have great airflow from what i hear, so if you can find better that's great.

-PSU could be better, but it will work and its quite a price jump to get something better

Hope this helps :)

Edit: If you want to do video editing then something like a 1600AF (12nm) would be good if the price is right. If not maybe a 2600 or at least a 3300X (3300X would be the best in games but 2 fewer cores)
