I’m currently streaming From my Xbox through a capture card to a computer with a gtx750 the cpu isn’t all that spectacular And phenom 2 so I use the gpu for my encoding. I currently am able to stream at 900p60fps which I’m good with for the stream but I’d like to be able to record at 1080p60 would upgrading to a better gpu like a 1050ti enable me to do that?

1050 ti is crap so is the encoder. what about gtx 1650 or 1650 super. even rx 5500 XT

yes it would but I would not recommend the 1050 TI because you can get the 1650 for the same price, comes with an extra performance jump and less power draw. another massive plus for going with the 1650 is that it comes with the new NVENC encoder, which in simple is a really good encoder that will massively beat the 1050TI. or if you have a little extra budget you could also go with a 1650 super

A 1650 Super would be your best bet.

the 1650 is that it comes with the new NVENC encoder

The 1650 non-Super features the older Volta NVENC encoder, not the Turing encoder.

Just now, Tom_nerd said:

that comes with a really not great encoder. as oppose to Nvidia`s options

that encoder isnt far from 1650's encoder. and it uses simalr amount of power too. what ever is cheaper 5500 XT or 1650 you should get that.

but even rx 570's encoder is better than 1050 ti's

i had 1050 ti in the past
