When im gaming my cpu usage is always ~5-15% and gpu usage is ~40-60% and i get hugely low fps with stutter i checked all my temps my cpu was like 40 c and gpu was not exceeding 80 c i tried using the superposition benchmark i selected 720 low to test on and gpu usage was like 40% to 50% and cpu ~5-15% and i get terrible fps but when i select to benchmark on 1080p high my gpu usage goes all the way to 90% but the cpu was still in ~10-15% in this situation i get decent fps but lot of stutter
If somebody knows what to do pls i really need help ive been strugglling with this problem since my pc build

It will help

Will it fix it entirely ? We don't know

Only way to know is to actually test

And btw last question is the cpu good for my gpu ?

Yes

Forgot to add

Run cinebench or prime 95 as a cpu stress test and check cpu usage

Should i really upgrade the motherboard ? if yes will it raise my cpu usage ? and what mobo do you recommend me to get with a price close to mine

Are your cpu clock speeds decreasing over time? Id be surprised if the motherboard VRMs were overheating in a gaming workload, but its worth a check

This also wouldnt explain the GPU issues so its unlikely its the case.

If you can get a new board get a B450 board. The MSI tomohawk or mortar would do nicely. As I say though, its probably unlikely to increase your performance (although it does give you the ability to overclock)

No the cpu clock speeds are constant in every situation and sometimes in heavy areas they raise from 3.2 to 4.1 ghz and cpu temp seems fine as i said its 40c

Hmm.

Have you definitely got all your drivers up to date and the latest BIOS?

Otherwise i really dont know im afraid

tested it and cpu usage seems pretty good at a constant 100% and no less than that and the score was actually good

-snip-

Use prime 95 as well

If the stress test utilizes the cpu well

Get dual channel and if the issue persists with games it could be poor game optimization

Your unlikely that your power throttling

But am upgrade is recommended

Something like a b450 pro 4 for cheap will be a lot better.

Ok ill try prime 95

And if the problem persists after i upgrade to dual channel ill try to upgrade the mobo too

I tried it and kept it running for 2 hours and the cpu usage seems to be stable at 100% and doesnt seem to be throttling at all since the cpu temp doesnt exceed 60 c

Oh no I didn't mean thermal throttling

I meant power throttling

Look at the frequency and if it stayed at around the advertised all core Turbo then your good

If that's the case then it's probably a poor game optimization

yes all cores clock seems to be stable maybe in 1% of the times one core drops to 2.9 mhz but unless that it seems perfect

And i dont think its a poor game optimization because i have tried it in many games like far cry 5 ,apex legends ,fortnite and as i said, in superposition benchmark gpu usage seems fine at high 1080p settings but the cpu usage is around 10%

Soo maybe its a ram issue probably as you said before

@Kbadri10 DDU the video driver and install direct from NVIDIA. Once done, please run a 1080p superposition benchmark, and let us know the results. Link would be preferable.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Linux - Fedora
