Monitor Help!

So I am currently running a msi 27" 1080p monitor and I recently upgraded my GPU to a 2070FE my buddy sold me. From a rx580, which did a good job at everything I did with it. 

 

I want to upgrade my monitor next to take  advantage of the new GPU horsepower  in the 2070, I figured 1440p monitor would be a nice improvement. I really like the wide curved screen of the current msi monitor I'm using, as well as the high refresh rate at 120hz. 

 

Trying to budget myself to $500+/- some for this upgrade, mainly play fps shooters but also stuff like resident evil which is detailed oriented.  Want to keep it a VA panel or IPS but the later is a bit more expensive than my budget. 

 

I've done the whole pc parts picker search and currently seems like everything is $100 more than normal. 

I like the 

MSI Optix MAG321CQR 31.5" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor - currently $448, was $378 not long ago 

Or the 

LG 32GK650F-B 32.0" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor - current price 

$399, when it had sales for $299 not long ago.

 

So idk if anyone has a good recommendation please pass it along. Thanks
