Which microSD for phone?

What are some decent microSD cards for smartphone? I will probably go with 256GB or 512GB. Phone has 4K video recording. From what I saw, any with U3 speed class should be fine, right?

U1 or Class 10 is about the sweetspot for price and speed for loading apps etc at the smaller sizes, usually 64GB or less.

 

As you have 4k video involved then you would benefit from the to step up to U3 I would guess. With U3 its a price thing so only you can say its fine or not. I would guess you are looking at $100+ for those sizes so we can't tell you if that is OK or not.

Thanks! I was just looking for info, so I don't buy something too slow.

I actually found Kingston 256GB with U3, 10 years warranty for $60.

Is your device confirmed to work with UHS?

 

Just make sure its V30, that way you can feel confident.

 

SD Card speed classification is a mess...

Device supports microSDXC and card is microSDXC, UHS-I, U3, V30, so I guess it should be fine.

additional speed class, nice.. this one is also A1, so it fits all the good speed classes
