Dual Display Question

Im waiting on the parts to arrive for my first PC build and am looking for a monitor while im waiting, im planning to just use the 35" tv I use for my xbox for now and  when I am finally able to choose a monitor use the tv as a second display but now im starting to wonder if that will work. I got a RTX 2060 that has 1 HDMI and 3 DP outputs will I be able to run the TV off the HDMI and the monitor off the DP at the same time or does it have to be one or the other?

That's hands down the only path I see to upgrade what I have while keeping the ultrawide flame alive. Then I thought, why should I not suggest this young gent to shoot all the way up to the stars right off the bat?
