PC posting but not booting

Hey, so I’m trying to explain my problem as best as I can:

Randomly while programming my pc just shut down (no blue screen etc.). On reboot it wasn’t possible to get into Windows anymore. It does post and the windows loading screen does appear but after that the pc just reboots. It is also not possible to get into any other OS like Ubuntu either. The rescue mode of windows works though. Rescue mode being the mode where the command prompt or startup repair etc. are selectable.

 

Because it not being able to boot into an OS I think it can only be the following options sorted on likelihood but please tell me what you think:

1. GPU (although it still does output an image)

2. Main board

3. PSU

4. Other?

 

I already tried Reseting the UEFI, Using Ubuntu and other OS and Switching the RAM.

So you can't boot into ANY other OS, specs? Try using another storage device if possible

Are the other OS you are trying on the same drive? Could be a failing drive.

 

There could be a faulty device. Try unplugging any unnecessary devices, network cards etc.

Could also be a failing PSU.

If you reset the CMOS, and left it at defaults, you may have to go into BIOS/UEFI and setup boot device again... didn't see that mentioned.
