Unfortunately the only NVMe SSDs at this point are QLC... Just don't get the Silicon Power A60 or similar units, extremely small DRAM cache throttles performance in certain workloads.

just go for something like a quality samsung nvme

that's almost double my pricepoint. it isn't just a little more money.

I live in misery USA. my timezone is central daylight time which is either UTC -5 or -4 because the government hates everyone.

The Silicon Power A80 is usually at around $120 if I'm not mistaken.

Lower than that and you're looking at QLC and/or DRAMless drives, which are not optimal unless you plan on using the SSD just for games.
