I'm looking to build a new setup and I have been moving more towards photo editing and more color accurate things. Coming from 2 TN panels I have a few requirements which I want.

For Starters

- Needs to be available in Australia (I've seen some of the predator monitors which fit this description but I can't find them in AUS)

- Monitors need to look the same in size and design (I'm going for a good looking, clean setup, I want the monitors to be from the same brand and the same size)

- Needs to support VESA mounting

Main Monitor

- Needs to be high refresh rate; at least 144hz

- Ideally I only want 1080p because it's cheaper, and easier to drive, and I'm more of an FPS player so extra quality just goes to waste on me

- TN seems ideal here, it's the cheapest and also has the best response rate, I don't mind too much if it's VA, but IPS here seems overkill

- 16:9, I dislike ultrawides for gaming

Secondary Monitor

- Needs to be IPS; I'm also fine with VA, but IPS is ideal

- Needs to be above 1080p, I'm fine with 1440p, or 2160p

- Decent color accuracy, this isn't the "make or break" part, I just don't want it to have dogshit colors, I can calibrate it myself if I need to

That's all! I don't have a budget but I'd prefer that they're reasonably priced. Like I said, the most important thing here is the monitors looking the same.

Thanks :)

Looking for LG Ultragear, they are all IPS but have 1080p option as well as 1440p. If you don't mind the stand and the back looking very different (may be buying a monitor stand) you could also took UL/UK series as your secondary monitor as that will save you some money for better resolution and out of the box colour accuracy.

I don't do TN and I didn't like my VA panel.

But for the second one, if you can, go for 10-bit color. I will buy the aorus fi27q if some months cause I need the high refresh rate. But if you need it for movies or editing, you don't need the htz, so you can save some Aussie 💰 if you consider it
