Please help me install CPU cooler

Hey, I'm kinda new to CPU cooler stuff; and I've only used stock coolers but today I got a BeQuiet pure rock and my motherboard is AM3+ which is supported, but I'm having problems with this backplate thing...

In the picture it shows that 4 tiny pillars are sticking upwards,  but for me they only come up when I use a small sized screw driver...

didn't work out, for them it is apparently perfect

Oh, the backing plate falls and slides over. I get it.

 

Easy trick, a couple small pieces of double sided tape to hold the plate to the back of the board for assembly.

Yeah, but this is a prebuilt, and it's just so annoying to take out, well thanks wish me luck!

I have not tried to install that CPU cooler.  I installed a CPU cooler from Arctic in my system and it was compatible except you had to call Arctic to get a new backplate.   That is why I asked if you verified the specific motherboard you are using was supported and didn't need a new backplate.

Oh, well I just unscrewed my motherboard, and then just put a piece of paper under the plate then just screw the frames.
