airpods disconnecting

My airpods have suddenly started disconnecting when playing songs and in calls. it happens about a minute into a song or vid pretty much every single time. However i dont get the issue when just having them in and not playing anything. I have tried resetting cleaning and making sure there is no interference but nothing seems to be working. Has anyone else had this issue? I was thinking the sensors but im not sure as they stay connected in my ear when no sound is playing.

Might be a stupid suggestion but are they charged enough? Mine always disconnect like that and then allow you to reconnect for a minute or so when low on charge

both are on 90% and the case is on 60%.

Ah right, fair enough, sorry. What other connections are switched on on the iPhone? (like wifi or 4G or whatever?)

I've got wifi on and 4G but i have tried with each of them on/off and no difference.

Ah right, sorry, just a suggestion as my iPad always gives a lot of interference to the AirPods if it's under load and wifi is turned on too

yeah i turned off all the Bluetooth in the house. Its just weird that its only disconnecting when playing audio.

Yeah that sounds quite odd. I've only had them randomly disconnect randomly a couple of times because of accidentally triggering the ear detection but that's about it.

Maybe try repairing them with your device?

Yeah tried it a few times but no difference unfortunately. Im just baffled why they disconnect only when playing music. After they disconnect the left one seems to reconnect back after 10-20 secs. Kinda rendering them unusable at this point.
