If an Idea sounds very crazy and is not widely used there have to be reasons why

not too crazy. an old article from overclockers.com does mention using alcohol for cooling. but then again, they usually don't care about system longevity past getting a couple benchmarks. https://www.overclockers.com/data-on-coolants-and-liquids-used-in-computer-watercooling/

Okkk so if we mix methanol with aldehyde or distilled water then it should resolve the problem stated in this article.

And secondly onlt methanol and ethanol doesnt exist there are other alcohol goup chemicals.

If  thats also the problem then what about automobile coolent   :;

Those are flammable and have flammable vapours, seems like a great way to start a house fire.

Not to mention they boil at around 70C, you might as well just use plain gasoline then :P

I use antifreeze with roughly 1:1 ratio of distilled water. Antifreeze on its own is too thick to pump properly.

I don't use it for any kind of performance benefit, in fact i think its worse than plain water, but it adds corrosion inhibitors and stops biological growth so it means less maintenance.

The specific heat capacity of water is, IIRC, about double that of ethanol, which makes it superior as a coolant.

Alcohols are also solvents that will attack many of the common materials in cooling loops, particularly rubbers.

yeah i dont see any point either. could it be a poor solution for antibacterial agent?

Suppose that's one way of not having to deal with fungicides or coils! There's also the possibility of fires thanks to the low vapour pressure of alcohols combined with high flammability and low flash points...
