Mic that doesnt pick up mechnical keyboard sound

Hi,

I'm currently using a Siberia V2 Frost Blue and people keep complaining because the mic picks up sound from my mechanical keyboard. I was wondering if there's a way to fix that with the current headset or maybe looking to buy a mic that is not omni-directional?

Open to all suggestions

Thanks!

Your headset is not broken it is functioning how it should. Your keyboard is just loud. You could buy an extra mic and configure it so software blocks out noise picked up by that mic. ASUS sells these with their Phoebus cards.

Any mic is going to pick up mechanical keys.

Even a cardioid mic with it facing upwards (facing my face)?

Thanks

any good mic will pick up any noise around it. try lowering the gain and having your lips on the mic, with a windscreen that might help to eliminate unnecessary sounds getting picked up.
