Why do I have an option to boot my pc with Sata 4?

deathfrankcore

Hello, for my pc I have a sata3 ssd but looking in the bios it says that I can boot my pc with a sata 4 ssd. My mobo is a b450 mortar. What should I do?

That is the Sata port number, so a mortar max has 6 Sata ports, the ssd is plugged into the 4th.
