out of nowhere high ram usage

So my ram usage has gone from 20% at idle to 90-95% at idle

and afaik there is absolutely no reason for it to be happening

the only thing I know is it only starts spiking after 0,5-1 hour

 

so is there anyway I can diagnose what is causing this

or is there anyone that knows what might cause this to happen

anything will help

What does Task Manager list as the program/process using the RAM? I'd start there.

i have 16 gbs

I'm not sure if this is still an issue, but a while back they released an update that would use available RAM and (hopefully) spit it back out when needed elsewhere. I know a lot of people complained since it didn't always "spit" it back as hoped. They may have changed this it was a few years ago if I recall.

Run a sort of antivirus and see if it finds anything.
