These are my current specs:

Case: Fractal Design Define R5

GPU: ASUS GTX 1060 DUAL 3gb

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz 19MB

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B350M-A

Powersupply: be quiet! Pure Power 10 600W CM

I'm looking to get a new GPU there is currently a sale at my local pc store.

I'm wondering which gpu i should get the opinons are:

Both cost the same atm.

I am also wondering if these will work with my current setup.

Thx in advance, Atomic

Get the 2070. It has lower power draw and performs around 5% on avarage better than the 1080.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

Ryzen 5 1600 could be slightly bottlenecking every one of the mentioned graphics cards.
Limiting framerate to where its steady solves that bottleneck stutter if you would experience that.
I wouldnt worry about the possible bottleneck in this case.

Consider and compare to
5700xt too.
It is worth to check out atleast.

I have pretty heavy cpu bottleneck compared to this at the moment, but the framerate
limiting makes it butter smooth, so im very confident with saying this.

Get the 2070. Your PC will handle it fine. Then I'd wait for next gen ryzen and get a B550 + 4600 Setup for the next upgrade.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Absolutely. Might also last way past the day we see the hardware you mentioned. It depends on how performance thirsty one gets.
