This is what I have.  I just looked and it's available in Germany.  It is a bit more expensive but has a nicer stand with more range of adjustment and a brighter panel.   Either are good.

Thanks for the help guys, I will just look to some more monitors and go with the 5700 xt!

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of buying a new PC but would like some help with the parts.

My budget is max €1000,- for the PC and probably another €250,- for a gaming monitor.

My goal is to play games like WoW, Valorant and games like Cyberpunk/Horizon when they release.

I did sanome research d came to the following build:

CPU:                             AMD Ryzen 5 3600                                        €165,-

CPU Cooler:                Stock AMD cooler                                                -

Motherboard:              B550 motherboard (TBD)                               €100,-

Memory:                      Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB                       €68,-

Storage*:                     WD Blue 500GB m.2 2280 SSD                     €65,-

Videocard:                  Gigabyte RTX 2070 Windforce 2X                  €450,-

Case:                           Be Quiet! Pure Base 500                                €65,-

Powersupply:             Cooler Master MWE 650 White                      €65,-      +

*Will also use my 2 current SSD's                                                       €978,-

I'm specially looking for feedback on the videocard. I'm really doubting about it.

Is a RTX 2070 worth it? Or shoulith a 5700xt or even a RTX 2060 Super?

I got some good experience with Nvidia cards and read a lot of bad things about the 5700xt, so i'm leaning towards a Nvidia card.

Also do you guys have any recommendations for a good €250,- IPS monitor?

Thanks in advance!

Stootman

Yeah with current prices at dutch retailers i can buy a RTX 2070. Aiming for 100+ FPS in shooters, like Valorant. Might be a bit less for triple A games like cyberpunk.

5700xt performs better for cheaper.

Yeah I read that a lot. Are most of the issue with the card solved? Or is it still an unstable card?

All of them are fixed. I’ve had mine since Christmas and have never had a black screen, and it overclock well.

I play 4k high and it hits 60fps on nearly all titles, with esports games it pushes 150 though I have it capped at 70.

Nice, so a QHD 60-144hz monitor will be fine? Any recommendations?

I have 2x 1440p monitors right now.  I managed to snap up an Acer XB272U for $299 on Black Friday which was an absolute steal.  I haven't seen them for less than $380 on sale and $499 even more recently.

The XV272U is 144hz and IPS.  It's a really fine gaming display if you can find it in stock.  The 5700XT runs 60hz Ultra settings in every game I've played.

The other monitor I have is an identical looking Acer VG270U that's also 1440p/IPS but it's only 75hz.  I mounted them both on a gas spring arm.

About €350-400, a little more would not be a problem when there are a lot benefits.

That monitor got great reviews.  Not the best stand apparently and no "gamer" features like on screen crosshairs but a very solid performing panel with good colors and speed.   Put that bad boy on a cheap VESA mount and have at it.
