Budget (including currency): ~$1000

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Wanting to run VR and decently high graphics (while maybe streaming) for virtually any game. I am a heavy multitasker and will have a dozen or so programs/active tabs open at once while gaming.

Other details https://www.samsclub.com/sams/dell-gaming-desktop-i7-gtx-1060/prod22274409.ip?xid=plp_product_1_3  (These are the specs I have. Just pasting the link wholesale so I don't miss any details that should be mentioned, I am shamefully bad at this)

Basically, I want to know what optimal upgrades would be for this machine. A friend mentioned RAM, GPU, Power-Supply and Memory, but I figured I could maybe a more specific answer here, if it's not any trouble. Thanks for the help ahead of time.

With an i7-8700, the sky is the limit with GPU upgrading.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

In that case, the only things I would recommend moving over would be cpu, case, and ssd. Something like the following would be good:
