Is the Cooler Master MWE bronze 650w V2 a good PSU, and does it come with black cables?

It's a crap power supply and it shouldn't be bought. Look at the Corsair CX 550 or a SeaSonic S12III 600

I mean, it's alright. You'd be better off with a nice Corsair one, but if you're on a budget it's a meh option. 

And yes it has black cables.

My friend had it, it was adequate but he had a low end system, I wouldn't put this in my PC though.

It's ranked as B tier which they recommend for entry level systems, so if your on a budget it should be fine. Could look for the MWE gold or Corsair TXM instead, but I'd imagine they cost a bit more

if you want something alot better but not expensive the cx650 is a whole lot better 

something better the MWE gold or the rm650x or the tx650m
