Need Linux on this Laptop

I have a Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1160 with specs as follows

Processor: Intel Atom Z3735F

Os : Windows 10 (which runs bad)

RAM: 2GB DDR3

ROM: 32GB EMMC(Expandable using SD Card)

I have completely removed Windows (because it won't run very well and crashes often)from it and need a better Linux alternative

Please give me a guide to install too...This is my only laptop for now

okay so mainstream ultralightweight distro as for which one. UGHH there are dozens of options but for a starter 2-5 make sense.

 

you need to make a bootable flashdrive put it in, install the OS then you should be set.

yeah thats kinda the issue with some of these super light distros many don't have the support and software catalogs
