Had to share this. My friend has been working the last week on turning this old Nec Multispeed into a lan machine. Here are the specs.

Rx 570 -Undervolted and passively cooled

R5 3600

16 GB 3200Mhz Gskill

B450I MSI motherboard

1tb Blue M.2

MageDok 11.6 IPS 1080P Monitor

SFX Silverstone 650 Gold Watt PSU

Nec Multispeed HD case

This looks sick!

 

I love the unfinished state it is in. The way the monitior is just stuck inside the chassis and that broken NVidia cooler which is somehow screwed onto that RX570. The unmatched screw on the back of the PCB is just the cherry on top.

 

I can't wait to see it finished!
