Hey guys,

My brother's editing rig seems to be dead. I did some trouble shooting, but haven't made much progress. I will pull out another similiar system to swap cpu, ram, gpu, etc. Anyways I need some help looking for a replacement/ upgrade. I want to try to use second hand because of my small budget. Im a bit uneasy with buying parts from ebay. Can anyone give some tips/ recommendations? Any help would make a world of difference for us thanks guys.

Ebay is usually legit as long as you don't buy too cheap (too good to be true is a real thing on Ebay) or from Industry City California because that's where all the scammers live apparently.

What are your specs now so maybe we can help you find similar parts

well we work on 1080p 60fps twitch game play. it also be nice to do some decent gaming on. I did some trouble shooting and got it running but i need to look for an upgrade to some ageing hardware. budget is between 300-600. i could upgrade him to a ryzen 5 1600 including ram and MB, i hoping ebay could have better deals
