I now have a Phenom mATX and I f***ing hate it. So i want a new case, but the ones I find aren't exactly where I am looking for.

Where I am looking for:

Small (37cm in height or lower)

Micro-ATX

Minimalistic design (Like the Bitfenix Phenom or Corsair 200r)

Easy building

Cases I don't want:

Arc Mini R2

Any suggestions?

It's 39,5 cm high but i would suggest the Define mini.

Is the small height due to restrictions with furniture? Because tall cases are more efficient space wise because they take up less area on your desk.

And is it not possible to go ITX?

Wow, your avatar bro..

+1 for the Define mini

or maybe the NZXT Vulcan

OMG the vulcan is ugly

Is also possible. If there is no other case that meets my requirements, I will go ITX. (Maybe Hadron Air?)

He wants something small because he doesn't want anything higher than his monitor, which is at the lowest height... :|

And he doesn't want the Arc Mini R2 because he hates brushed aluminium. [iDK why]

And I keep telling him not to go for just aesthetics, but also for functionality.

ITX will force you to get a new motherboard, but it will give you a lot more choices. I definitely wouldn't recommend the hadron air because it's still a first case for EVGA with quite a few quirks.

If you want a small microATX case, the Silverstone SG10 is about as compact as you can get (super space efficient case), but it's quite ugly IMO.

Otherwise, cooltek has some super sexy and ultra lightweight aluminum cases that are also super small and microATX, but they might be impossible to get in New Zealand (they are a German brand)

The Cooltek Coolcube maxi would be your best bet for microatx (dimensions are: Height 280mm Width 240mm Depth 280mm and Weight is 2.0Kg

Take a look at the Fractal Design Core 1000. It is a short MATX tower, it has a minimalistic design, and it's good quality.
