Didn’t see that

I don’t think there’s a way to restore the data

Trying to recover two files for a friend.

They had two files saved in Google Drive, but when they went to backup their work, they accidentally backed up older word documents and clicked yes when prompted to replace the files as they had the same name. The files that they had saved on Drive were not saved anywhere else.

Is there any way I can help them restore the original files?

I will complain about high prices in Norway given the oportunity.

Yeah, I told them to always make sure they have important files backed up moving forward. I didn't think that there would be anything I could do, but I just posted here in the off chance that Google had some type of upload history.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
