Okay i already bought a mother board and have the rest of my build together cant decide on the cpu/ apu i have it narrowed down to 3.
would like youre imput guys! first is the amd althlon x4 750k trinity (bassically an a10 5800k with gfx core disabled) then the actual a10 5800k and last but not least a10 7850k i would use integrated graphics but I plan on using a r7 260x or a gtx 750 ti
oh yea for ram im using some ripjaws 1866 ddr3 8 gig kit and for the mother board its a asrock fm2a55m-vg3+ (supports both fm2 and fm2+ apu/cpu's) thanks guys!

750ti is more powerful but the APU is more easily upgradable. Ask yourself how long until you will upgrade? If it is not very long buy an APU and stick a GPU in there next chance you get.

7850k barely outperforms athlon so you basically pay premium for just igpu...

I am talking from a cost standpoint. APU is cheaper than the 750ti build and you won't waste money on a GPU you will just replace down the road.

no. you are left with same cpu and worthless iGPU, that you payed for

and you can allways sell the card.

Here's a better RAM option: G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 @ $74.99 <-- Same RAM I picked up for my daughters build with an ASUS A88X-PRO + 6800K.

As for the APU, why not include the 6800K as an option or just go with the Kaveri option you listed above.

MOBO - Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0   CPU - AMD Phenom II X6 1055T @ 3.5GHz - Corsair H80i   RAM - 2x Corsair Vengence 4GB DDR3 @ 1666 MHz

GPU - SAPPHIRE 100362-3L Radeon R9 290 4GB Tri-X OC  Sound - ASUS Xonar DSX  PSU - Thermaltake SMART M Series SP-850M 850W

reason why i picked the ram i did is my mobo only supports up to 1866 its a buisness class board. and 6800k performs within 5 fps of the 5800k and for 30 bucks more it wasnt worth it for me. and thanks for the input guys i think ill just go athlon! question how does the r7 260x perform against the gtx 750ti??? i mostly play radeon titles with the exeption of hawken. also ill point out I have no problems over clocking cpu gpu or apu lol
