Windows 7 Backup Question.

Windows 7 has a "Backup & Restore" feature. Does it also restore installed windows updates? I google'd it but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. It just says "it backs your data up".

What do you mean by restore updates? It does a full image restore, so everything gets restored. If you are doing a file level restore, you pick what files you want to restore and to where.

I have specific updates installed. A certain bunch because that's what I need. But if it restores the whole image then it's fine. Thanks for the reply.
