Case fan confusion

Hi Everyone, I’m trying to build my first PC and I’m getting confused on how to install the case fans. The case I’m using is a cougar MX 330 X and and I’m trying to install two arctic p12s As intake fans in the front. There aren’t really any clear directions on how to do this. Can anyone guide me where to look to figure this out? Thanks in advance!

I don't have the case, but it seems to be similar to mine. Follow This video to take off the front panel then put the fans where they are shown in the video. Then screw them in from inside. That should be all you need to do.

The video did give me a good bit of info, but I’m actually stuck with the installing part. I think it’s because I don’t know where to put the screws. I am also thinking it might be better to just order rubber screws.

What screws do you have? 

It should just be lining up the fan with the holes in the case and screwing them in.

Just by looking at them I’d say they are half inch or quarter inch screws. I guess I’ll just have to keep trying. So far I’ve not able to get the screw to go into the fan (which is why I am thinking it may be too short), but I’ll keep trying. Thanks!

Just to confirm, you are trying to screw through the case and into the fan, as in the below picture?

 

If you are and the screws don't reach the fan stil, the holes in the case could be depressed, if so the fan should be on the raised side and the screws screw through the dipped side. Also the screws should selftap the fan, so you'll need to use a bit of force to make a thread.
