Virtualization for Windows XP and 98 gaming?

In this video Linus shows off MacOS running with GPU passthrough and minimal overhead. Could he do it again, but instead of using for a Hackintosh, use it for a turbo-charged Windows XP and Windows 98 gaming setup?
