Horizontal EK-Quantum Volume FLT 240; Is it possible?

Hi!

I'm getting all my part right now for my custom water loop & i was thinking about somethig.

The case i am building in :

corsair obsidian 750d airflow edition

=> Picture to my build right now : https://imgur.com/a/QVplInC

So parts i know i am getting are :

EK-CoolStream SE 280 & 360 (Front and top)

EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 160 VTX PWM D-RGB combo unit

https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-kinetic-tbe-160-vtx-pwm-d-rgb-acetal?fbclid=IwAR0WVH4vtFzTDbJ48buYT8iS_A_k62siTqbAXkugpngskEt4ji0mg6unh4g

EK-Quantum Magnitude - 1151 Coper + Acetal (Black)

https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-magnitude-115x-copper-acetal?___SID=U .

And a GPU block.

Now my question is, EK released there ' EK-Quantum Volume FLT ' Reservoirs / distro plate.

https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-volume-flt-240-d-rgb-plexi?fbclid=IwAR1wfljbzmTYKdXduM4H6yhJA_8ddoBrgf2n24Kj6cybToVpUxqK_c7LZpM

And i think they really look nice. Sadly enough after looking inside my pc i don't see a good spot to put one.

THEN it struck me :

Can I play the reservoir horizontally on my PSU shroud?

In theory i'd say yes(???), But am i going to have enough pressure / pump power to pump around?

I was thinking about : pump/res combo => Distro plate => gpu => Cpu => Rad 1 => Rad 2 => Pump/res combo.

I beileve so, as this is a distro meant for either horizontal or veritcal mounts, but putting it on your psu shround might look a bit wonky, and might be kind of risky, as your loop could leak, and if it gets past the psu shroud... But just a thought. The plate won't be secured in any way besides by the petg/soft tubing, which won't be the best way to have it. It won't be very functional, nor will look very good (imo) but it will work.

Yea... I was thinking about using double sided tape to secure the distro plate.

And the idea of leaking into my PSU would be bad.

Even without the distro plate it will look good.
