I suspect you've already ruled this out but if there is anyway at all to manage with a tower instead of a laptop then you will get so much more for your money on a desktop. Also allows for upgrades as you grow as a artist/business.

This aside, im at best a super casual photoshop user... but i'v always found tech radar a helpful source... see their article on this topic, from 1 week ago

Zephyrus G15 doesn't seem to make the "top 10" but the list can be used as reference to compare against. I did find a few industry people talking about the Zephyrus G15 being viable for photoshop so i suspect its not too far off the mark

Not sure if this help but i hope it does

I wonder if a Zephyrus G15 (GTX version) is too hot or not and is its screen too pale for me to use Photoshop or Premiere on it?

If you are worried of the thermals for G15 here is the fix:

For the screen, it has a 240hz, 3ms, 100%sRGB, 300 nits, 1080p variant.

It will basically suffice your needs for Photoshop/Premiere.

If you need better screen 4k, >100%sRGB, >350 nits you are opt to buy one a monitor (no to very few laptop offers this kind of screen performance as of today)

It can render faster than any laptop out there on similar price point.
