APU help

I'm looking for a good APU that supports ddr3. Any reccomended I'm open to anything.

apu's aren't selectable or changeable , they are embedded into whatever cpu they are in. pick a cpu and whatever apu it has is what it has , thats it

yeah he means that hes searching for a good cpu that supports ddr3 that also has graphics

Technically an APU refers to a CPU with an IGP, not just the IGP, so the OP would be correct to ask which APU is good.

well i'll agree with that so long as nothing from the manufacturer claims the product to be a cpu , sure then

What board are you using. Whats the budget . Whats the use case

Well let me start at the beginning. I'm using a fairly old laptop (HP 2000 Notebook to be exact) and I'm trying to upgrade the parts. The board is an HP 188B motherboard (sorry if that's vague thats literally all I could find) 

My Budget is $200 or under

Im not sure you have the motherboard right as im not finding that board to be a laptop board. The 2000 range of hp laptops is pretty vast so youll need to narrow it down as some of the boards are bga which isnt a changeable cpu

Which specific HP 2000 laptop to you have?

Are you also able to tell us what the laptop CURRENTLY has?

 

Run CPU-Z and upload a screenshot of the following tabs:

• CPU -- tells you EVERYTHING about the current CPU (make, model, revision, socket type, etc)
• Mainboard -- tells us a bit more information about the HP 188B motherboard (make, model, revision, chipset, BIOS version, etc)
