Technically an APU refers to a CPU with an IGP, not just the IGP, so the OP would be correct to ask which APU is good.

Well let me start at the beginning. I'm using a fairly old laptop (HP 2000 Notebook to be exact) and I'm trying to upgrade the parts. The board is an HP 188B motherboard (sorry if that's vague thats literally all I could find)

Which specific HP 2000 laptop to you have?

Are you also able to tell us what the laptop CURRENTLY has?

 

Run CPU-Z and upload a screenshot of the following tabs:
