well i have a large spare room and id love a huge l shaped desk running along two whole walls but that would be expensive as all hell. even buying table tops and legs but for like three different desks which is what ill need to cover the space is expensive, does anyone know of cheap but sturdy desk solutions?

right now the only thing i can think of is like this http://www.staples.com/Folding-Banquet-Tables/cat_CL166212 and use a couple of those

only thing with the ikea desks is i need 3 of them to fill up the space i require, and with shipping its almost 350 bucks as i dont live anywhere near ikea, i think theres only one in my whole state, maybe 2

i have a micke desk from ikea £75 (roughly $100 but dont quote me on that) it has storage on the sides, but im considering taking them off and having a 3 monitor setup, perfect for streaming, but before i mod the desk, i'll have to buy 2 monitors lol

I'm still the fan of buying slabs of wood and nailing them together. Nothing like putting in a little work for a study, functional desk.

yeah only thing is i have no tools and i failed woodshop class back in highschool, i am not very good working with wood lol

Aw man it's easy. Just have either Home Depot or Lowes get you a slab of wood about an inch thick and four poles (I dunno what to call it :D) of wood the same thickness and height then nail the slab onto the legs of it.
