1 new gaming monitor and 1 new content consumption monitor

Hey!

 

It's been what, 10? years? since I last upgraded my screens and hoo boy has things changed a lot. Back then it was just finding a monitor with 60hz for gaming and an LED monitor will do nicely for content consumption.

Now I'm stuck here, looking at three dozen screens that say they're HDR and have great picture quality but are also somehow able to do 144hz or more. And other screens that say they're HDR with meh Hz, so I'm honestly a little confused.

TL;DR: I'm gonna upgrade my two monitors, one for gaming (Gsync compatible), one for content consumption (Videos, films, looking at pictures etc) I'm thinkning 2k should be plenty resolution for both, and I'd like the size to be around 27 inches.

Budget is ~400-500 dollars per screen

What do you guys and gals recommend?
