Hi, so my mobo supports up to 3200mhz ram. I currently have 2x8Gb 2400Mhz Corsair Vengeance RAM and I'm thinking about upgrading to 2x8Gb 3200Mhz Corsair Vengeance pro RGB.

The new kit would cost 89€ (96,97$), but I could sell my old one for 50-60 (55-65$), so I would only make 30-40€ loss. I am willing to pay a small "premium" for the LED's, but I wouldn't upgrade just for that. There has to be a performance increase.

Do you think the upgrade would be worth it?

Thanks for your answers!

My System specs:

  • AsRock B450M PRO4
  • Ryzen 5 2400g (will upgrade eventually)
  • GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER OC from Gigabyte
  • 16 Gb 2400Mhz Corsair Vengeance RAM
  • 500W Cooler Master Masterwatt lite power supply

Yes, there will be a small improvement in performance, but the question is will you notice it all that much.

This all depends on if you are running memory intensive programs (or games) or not.
