Smallest ATX Case?

Puntoboy

I currently have a R9 3950x and a Strix x570-i Gaming motherboard. For a couple of reasons, I need to change the motherboard for at least an mATX one. I want to keep the system as small as possible, hence why I currently have an ITX system, the problem is there are only 2-3 mATX x570 boards and none of them are any good from what I've read. So this leaves me with full ATX but this means getting a full ATX case. So I'm on the hunt for the smallest ATX case I can find, at a reasonable price.

So far I've found this https://www.density.sk/product/cerberus-x/#frame but at about £25 delivered, it's a bit pricey. Does anyone know of any alternatives, preferably with at least 1 USB-C port (I know the Cerberus doesn't have one but I've checked and you could change one of the USB-A ports quite easily)?

Unless you need the X570 chipset there are B550 motherboards coming soon with some decent looking mATX options

I don't think I really do, my setup is pretty simple really. 2 NVME m.2 SSDs, 2 2.5" SATA SSDs, GTX 2070 Super. I need 10GBe and some USB--C connectivity (USB 3.2 Gen 2) and that's about it I think.

My main concern was about running the 3950x on a B550 board.

Looks like the Cerberus X is the only option then :(

Cerberus X will be your best bet especially if you have an SFX psu and a AIO watercolor for the 3950x.

Which I do.

Then that would be my recommendation. It's pricey but it's about the smallest ATX case you can get.
