First build... I'm in doubt...

Budget (including currency): DKK 10.000 (~USD 1.500)

Country: Denmark

will be used for: heavy photo editing (lightroom, photoshop), light 3D work, Graphic design AND gaming.

Monitor 34UC99-W UWQHD (1440p)

So a little background:

I haven't owned a stationary computer in many years. Only a laptop and recently a monitor. Most gaming done on my PS4.

For some time ago i got a new appartement with room for a home office (appartements in Demark are not the biggest), and some money (yay!).

it took some time to build the office, but now i'm feeling for building my first computer.

i'm definitely not an expert on computers. But i have done a lot of research now to understand "the game". And that led me to LTT and now here.

Now i already blown my budget with 290 USD (2000 DKK). But i'm really satisfied with the specs and also the look i'm going for.

But i'm still not sure........

Is this a reliable build? Am i spending too much money in one place, compared to the other parts? Should i downgrade to safe some money now, stick to budget just to upgrade later? Or maybe wait a bit, increase the budget and then go for this build?

mostly i'm just really looking forward to do this and would be happy to show the results.

thank you!

I think this would probably my recommendation. According to anandtech, the 2700x is comprable to the 3600 in most tasks, and it's more expensive. I will say i didn't really look at specific benchmarks for photo editing/3d work though. The mobo i think is good for your needs? It's cheaper because its a B450 instead of an X470, which does make it less capable, but if you wait until soemtime in june to buy, there will be B550 motherboards which will be better than what i recommended for around the same price. As far as memory goes, you may want to up the speed to 3600, but I don't think its the biggest deal. For storage, I think you need more than what you had. I put a 1 TB NVME ssd and a 2 TB hard drive. A lot of the more budget NVME ssds in the US don't seem to be available/in stock in denmark, so its possible you could get a cheaper option if you wait. A hard drive with bulk storage will be better for your use case of storing photos and whatnot, although considering you were at 1TB in total in your other build, you could just get the ssd. The video card you had looked fine. So did the power supply, although this ine was cheaper according to PCPartpicker. The case is obviously personal preference, but I think that one looks really nice and clean for a little cheaper. Case fans would probably be nice, but I don't think they're required for that build/case.

heres the anandtech benchmarks for the CPU

i think this is a nice solid build, but if you want to save some money just get one fast gpu or just buy the second gpu later and use the 3600 instead the 2700

it is one GPU, the dual just refers to the two fans. Agree about the 3600 tho

Thanks for the answer. I think pcpartpicker only shows European stores and does not include pages only on the Danish market. So I want to look at that

but a lot I can take into consideration, so thank you.
