CableMod Cable missing pin?

Hi, I just received my first Cable Mod kit, and I was looking at the cables, and a couple of them are 8 pin connectors, but 2 wires on the PSU side are merged to one pin, leaving an empty space, is that normal? I just don’t want to fry my computer.

Compare it to the original set of modular cables, but on the PSU side it's not uncommon to have unpopulated pins as not all of them are used including some pins being interchangeable between each other. @CableMod should be able to help if you have concerns if the cable was actually made wrong.

@Stlerfn fully normal, we test everything prior to shipping to ensure you are ready for plug and play once you get your cables.
