Final part list review

Go to solution Solved by Sorenson,

If you have an extra $20 I would go with this. I just found a b450 board with a built in WiFi card. It also gets you a modern slightly better GPU and more ram. I downgraded the storage space, but changed it to an SSD. I would say survive off a smaller ssd for a bit and in like 2 months add some more hard drive storage rather than making your main storage an HDD.

So I have decided to build a pc and have spent a while now compiling a part list which can be found at

any help fixing reviewing the list is greatly appreciated (note monitor is subject to change as I am trying to currently find the best deal)

not saying that you should get a 1050 just saying if there are any other gpus around go for that

How long ago?  There have been a lot of driver changes.  AMD had famously large driver problems for a while.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I’m still not sure about the long term viability of 4/8 for gaming.  It’s a pretty powerful 4/8 for a small amount of money, but 4/8 will run stuff designed for 6/6 which is what current consoles  are because of the /8.  When the new consoles hit it’s going to be 7/14.  4/8 will still do 7 kind of, but 4/4 is already having big problems, and it may not do /14 at all.  I don’t know what is going to happen.
