After all that's an 8 year old product. Posted May 21, 2020 I don't think you can buy a new 2nd gen motherboard. Will it work? 聽 That motherboard (the聽ASUS ROG STRIX B360-H) is not going to work with a 2nd gen CPU (due to chipset incompatibility), you're going to need a 2nd gen LGA 1151 motherboard which are difficult/overpriced new, whether it's worth using the i7 2600聽would depend on how cheap you can find a used/refurbished 2nd gen LGA 1151 motherboard.
