Hi!

I am very soon ordering my new PC, yet I still have a small dillema on which x570 motherboard to choose.

I am going with the Ryzen 9 3950x and 64GB 3200Mhz memory. I have seen the Motherboard megathread.

Currently I am considering the Asus Prime x570-Pro, for the sole reason of it being a black/white colorway, which matches my PC build.

My question is, would this board be good enough? I am not planning on doing hardcore overclocking (some light tuning only), but I am unsure what would be the main downside of me choosing this board?

Is this board fine with a 3950x and is there a possiblity it will become a bottleneck for certain things?

Thanks in advance!

the prime pro is excellent performer, it will be good. You can overclock pretty high with that motherboard too.

Yeah it'll be good for a 3950X even with PBO enabled, it's a solid choice.
